Special K Squares
otherwise known as Scotcharoos
Information
Prep: 25-30 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup light Karo corn syrup
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 6 cups Special K cereal
- 6 oz. Nestle Toll House semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 6 oz. butterscotch chips
Instructions
- Bring sugar and corn syrup to a boil.
- Stir in peanut butter.
- Pour mixture over Special K and pat into a buttered 9x13 pan.
- Melt chocolate chips and butterscotch chips together and spread on to Special K mixture. Allow to cool.
